Feature and a short is a recorded screening hosted by Fourwind Films where an appointed contributor presents their chosen feature motion picture and a short movie. There is only one condition for the screening selection: the presenter must have been directly involved with one picture, but not the other. For this particular screening, we’re going live at the Los Ruano Gallery in the heart of Los Angeles. The chosen short will be the Oscar winning Hair Love (2019) written and directed by Matthew A. Cherry, and the feature motion picture will be SXSW premiered Lucky (2020) directed by Natasha Kermani with appointed contributor, actress Chivonne Michelle (Shaft). The fun part is that the food that will be served throughout the screening, each food item is related to the films being screened! Not to mention, within the gallery you’ll get to see beautiful pieces from local artists including the Robot and Friends display.
