Sisters Network Southeast Wisconsin is an African American breast cancer support group serving women in the Wisconsin counties of Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee and the Northeastern Illinois areas. Please join us for a Breast Cancer walk to support outreach and awareness in our local community. The Strength in Her Stride Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will be held Saturday, June 18th, 2022, 8:00 am - 11:00 am. T-shirts and swag bag will be included with registration fee as follows: Pre-registration - $20 On-site registration - $25 This will be a 3k walk totaling 1.3 miles. Please park your vehicle at the Pennoyer Park Band Shell. Starting Point: Pennoyer Park Band Shell, 3601 7th Avenue, Kenosha, WIEnding: Intersection of 52nd Street and 13th Court, Kenosha, WIThe American Cancer Society - Cancer Action Network and other community partners will be on site to provide First Aid, Refreshment stations and resource materials throughout the walk route. A local fitness instructor will be on-site to provide an energetic warm-up for all walk participants prior to the start of the event.
