Great Pyrenees/Lab in need of new home

I need to rehome my dog, Koda. He is a sweet sweet boy, but struggles with severe resource guarding. He has bitten me multiple times and lunged at a dog he knows due to this. About him: He is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix and weighs about 90 lbs. As a Pyr, he is protective and barks at noises outside the apartment pretty regularly. He loves to run, swim, and cuddle. He doesn’t mind other dogs, but only likes to run with them and can be testy when they try to wrestle. He does well in the car and walks nicely on a leash. He is fine being approached while eating, but cannot have anything taken from him. This is mainly an issue because he will open the trash or counter surf if something is tempting enough. He has taken to other training really well so this issue is solvable. I just cannot currently work on it with him and can’t risk him hurting anyone. I love him very much and will be so sad to lose him. He deserves a home that can give him what he needs so please only consider it you have the experience/energy/resources to work with him. $300 rehome fee & he will come with a bed, some toys, and almost full container of food and treats
