BUFFALO, NY — A Buffalo middle school was locked down briefly Tuesday morning after a BB gun was found in a bathroom, The Buffalo News reported, citing city police.
Police were called to Frederick Law Olmsted School at Kensington shortly before 11 a.m. after a student reported seeing another student with something that looked like a gun, the News reported.
The school was locked down for about five minutes. A brief shelter-in-place order followed. Classes resumed around 11:15 a.m.
A seventh-grader has been accused of bringing the BB gun into the school.
