Walnut Beach Suspects Sought After PD Body Cameras Stolen

MILFORD, CT — Police are asking for the public's help to identify people who knocked officers to the ground and stole body cameras on Memorial Day at Walnut Beach. Several fights broke out around 6:30 p.m. and officers attempted to break them up, but they became overwhelmed by a large crowd, police said. Two officers were pushed to the ground and their body cameras were stolen, according to police. Anyone with identifying information is asked to call police at 203-874-2366.
