DARIEN, CT — According to the Darien Police Department, Post Road is closed in both directions near West Norwalk Road due to repairs by Eversource. Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the DPD said a pole with a transformer fell onto a vehicle yesterday near the Norwalk city line, and Eversource is now conducting "major repairs." "We're expecting a couple hours of work being done by Eversource," said Skoumbros. Drivers cannot enter Norwalk or Darien using the Post Road, and are urged to use an alternate route.
