NEW JERSEY - A three-car collision on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River sent nine individuals to the hospital Tuesday evening, authorities said.
The crash was reported at milepost 84.9 around 5:11 p.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota told Patch.
An initial investigation found that a gray Jeep was traveling northbound when it lost control, striking a gray Volvo and then a red tanker truck, Slota said.
Minor injuries were reported, and nine occupants from the gray Jeep were transported to a nearby hospital, Slota said. The crash remains under investigation.
