TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Toms River group is organizing a demonstration at Huddy Park in response to the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, that killed 19 children and two teachers. The Toms River March For Our Lives is set for noon on June 11, when marches and demonstrations are planned across the country. "Bring your signs and your voices. This is a peaceful demonstration at Huddy Park in Toms River," organizers said. March For Our Lives was formed in 2018 by students who were survivors of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, to advocate for ways to end gun violence.
