Secaucus Opens Town Pool Just For Tuesday In Heat Wave

SECAUCUS, NJ — As a special treat to deal with today's heat wave, the Secaucus town pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m. This is only for today (Tuesday, May 31) and it's because of the heat (supposed to hit 97 degrees) and because Secaucus public schools are closed Tuesday, said Mayor Mike Gonnelli. The town pool is free to all Secaucus residents; just show ID and proof of residency at the entrance. The amazing town pool complex — with five pools — will be open for weekends until June 20, at which point it will be open every day daily from June 20 - Sept. 5.
