WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports: A leashed dog being walked May 21 was bitten by a dog that came out of a backyard in the 4500 block of Woodland Drive. The bitten dog suffered puncture wounds and was taken to the veterinarian. The at-large dog's owner was ticketed for having a dog at large. A wallet was stolen while a woman was shopping May 24 at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave. The wallet was inside an unzipped purse. A Springdale neighborhood entrance sign was damaged the weekend of May 21 at 53rd Street and Wolf Road.
