MERCER COUNTY, NJ — June is Pride month and events celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community kick off this week. If you know about pride events that may interest your neighbors, tell us about them. Here is a list of events happening around Mercer County: Pride Picnic and Flag Raising, Princeton: Princeton will raise the Pride Flag at Monument Hall on Friday at 12 p.m. The celebrations continue with the Pride Picnic at the Princeton Shopping Center at 5 p.m.. The event will feature music, games, activities and giveaways. The rain date is set for Sunday. Robbinsville Pride Festival: The second annual Robbinsville Pride festival is scheduled for Saturday, at PJ's Pancake House & Tavern, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This year's event will include a short program by speakers from Robbinsville High School's Genders and Sexualities Alliance, followed by music, celebration, and food and beverages. The event is for all ages, but attendees must be 21 or older to drink. Princeton Pride Parade: Princeton Pride Parade 2022 is back this year with an in-person event and after-party on June 18. The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice (BRCSJ) will be organizing the parade. Sesame Street's Alan Muraoka will be Parade Grand Marshal. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street. The after-party will be held at the YMCA great field. Trenton Thunder Pride Night: Join the New Jersey Pride Chamber of Commerce for a Pride Night at Trenton Thunder Ballpark, on June 9, 6 pm.m to 9 p.m. Enjoy happy hour networking before the game and a fireworks display post-game. Pride Family Picnic + Dance Party, Hopewell: Hope Rises Up and Prism are hosting a Pride family picnic and dance party at 2 Railroad Pl, on Saturday, June 26, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
