NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 20-year-old New Brunswick man walked into a city hospital just after midnight Wednesday with an apparent gunshot wound to his abdomen, said the city of New Brunswick in a Facebook post. At 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, New Brunswick Police were called for a man who walked into an area hospital for the non-life threatening injury. However, the man was uncooperative with police investigators and did not tell them much. The preliminary investigation suggests that that an altercation occurred outside the victim's residence on Jersey Avenue between the victim and two other unidentified individuals. The shooting victim was only identified as a 20-year-old New Brunswick man.
