The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt. May 18 Ofega G. Awe Odesa, 25, of Mokena, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol and saw Awe Odesa's vehicle commit a moving violation in traffic. The officer conduced a traffic stop and learned that Awe Odesa had a suspended driver's license. Awe Odesa was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Awe Odesa posted bond and was released.May 19 Debra L. Lynbarger, 60, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, for a report of retail theft. The officer learned that Lynbarger took approximately $171 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Lynbarger was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Lynbarger posted bond and was released.May 20 Andrew R. Timmerman, 21, of New Lenox, was charged with retail theft. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, for a report of a retail theft. The officer learned that Timmerman took approximately $262 worth of merchandise without rendering payment. Timmerman was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Timmerman posted bond and was released.May 21 Jondi Lopez-Celestino, 30, of Joliet, was charged with DUI. According to police reports, an officer was in the area of U.S. Route 30 and Interstate 80 when Lopez-Celestino committed a moving violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that Lopez-Celestino was driving under the influence of alcohol. Lopez-Celestino was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Lopez-Celestino posted bond and was released.Monique J. Mayfield-French, 39, of Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol and saw Mayfield-French's vehicle with suspended registration in traffic. The officer conduced a traffic stop and learned that Mayfield-French had a suspended driver's license. Mayfield-French posted bond and was released.Victor Garcia-Camacho, 40, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol and saw Garcia-Camacho's vehicle commit a moving violation in traffic. The officer conduced a traffic stop and learned that Garcia-Camacho had a suspended driver's license. Garcia-Camacho posted bond and was released.
