As Innovation Administrator for Calculated Industries, she focuses on strategic business and product opportunities. Before that, she launched and grew the successful Adams Hub business incubator which served hundreds of local startups and entrepreneurs and received the 2017 Entrepreneurial program of the year from EDAWN. Prior to this, Miya was the founder and president of MacWest Marketing (2003-2014), a boutique advertising agency focused on developing powerful, integrated marketing strategies for 100+ companies. As Vice President of Marketing/PR, Product Marketing and Business Development for the publicly traded iGo Corporation, she was consistently successful in increasing revenues while improving bottom line performance. Miya received a master’s degree in Health Psychology Education from Stanford University and dual bachelor degrees with distinction in English and Psychology from University of Nevada, Reno. What is AMP? AMP or ‘Association of Motivated Professionals’ is a networking group in Reno that meets bi-weekly. Our membership allows for one representative per industry to allow for consistent referrals between each other. We are looking to grow, so please ask one of our members or our president, Garrett ([email protected]), how to join. When is this event? AMP meets bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 8am. This specific event will be on Wednesday, June 15th at 8am. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to start networking and get coffee/breakfast snacks. Where do you meet?
