Do you like being outdoors? The city parks department is looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to work seasonally, for the summer seasons, performing maintenance tasks at various park locations. There is a high probability of becoming a permanent employee at the end of the season. HOURS PER WEEK: 40+ Full time- Day Shift Pay: $18.00 Per Hour Duties: This position requires physical labor which may involve, but is not limited to; General Landscaping, Leaf removal Facility Maintenance Refuse Collection Light janitorial work Experience: Mowing, weeding, and other outdoor maintenance experiences are preferred. Knowledge of the use of mower, weed Wacker and hand tools, a plus. Individuals must be able to work independently and with little supervision. Weekend hours are required.
