Description
BATAVIA, IL — With the official start of summer just weeks away, people will be out and about enjoying the Illinois weather. Ahead of summer crowds starting to form, Kane County Health Department officials announced they added additional COVID-19 vaccine appointments at the Kane Vax Hub.
In the coming month, the vaccination center, located at 501 N. Randall Street in Batavia, will be open from 9 a.m. to noon June 11. All vaccine types — Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson — will be available for people 5 and older. People interested will be able to receive the COVID-19 booster shot five months after completing the initial series of shots.
Appointments can be made online or by calling 855-452-6382.
To speed up the check-in process, people are asked to bring a consent form and their vaccine card if they've previously gotten shots.
