My name is Mary and my beloved Bichon Frise passed away not too long ago from heart failure. She was about 17 years and I had the privilege of having her in my life 13 wonderful years. By chance in 2020, I happened to adopt a dirty white severely snarled female Bichon from animal control in Downey and my life was transformed. Her presence alone comforted me. She left a huge hole in my life as she gave me her heart, asking nothing in return. Im beginning to open my heart for another companion and this is not an easy process.
