Here are the top three stories today in Southampton: A New York City man was arrested on Monday and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. At 3:22 a.m. Radovan Varchola, 49, was arrested on Little Plains Road and charged with misdemeanor aggravated DWI, according to Southampton Village police. Varchola drove his vehicle directly in the path of the oncoming police car — which had its emergency lights activated before stopping — said authorities.
