Here are the top three stories in Mobile today: The Mobile County Health Department has changed its income eligibility guidelines for the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program. The guidelines are used to determine if a family is eligible for special supplemental nutrition programs. (WKRG News 5)The Mobile County Health Department will be hosting a series of low-cost rabies vaccination clinics for local dogs, cats, and ferrets this month. (NBC 15 WPMI)The Mobile Police Department has made an arrest in the Monday night fatal shooting of an 11-year-old. The incident occurred at the R.V. Taylor Plaza public housing complex during a confrontation that involved multiple shooters. Cameron Lejoy Walker, 19-years-old, has been charged with three counts of shooting into an unoccupied vehicle and murder. The county suggests residents download the Mobile County Emergency Management Agency app, the Alabama Saf-T-net app, and the Mobile County Communications District App to smartphones. (Facebook)The Jazz Art Writers South Festival art exhibit will be at USA Marx Library until Jun. 30, 2022. Admission is free and the exhibit is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
