Note when applying indicate position which position you are applying for. We are looking for a reliable Handyman/ Maintenance person for our Southern Oaks Hotel. Person will be responsible for keeping up with the hotel repair tickets and the overall appearance of property. Person should be detail oriented and be able to physically keep up with work. The maintenance team is responsible for keeping the grounds/property in tip top shape. We will train for the position but candidates should at least have some maintenance experience. Responsibilities Clean facilities Perform maintenance and light repairs Perform routine landscaping on the grounds Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.) Repair equipment or appliances Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks Identify and report the need for major repairs Skills Proven experience as handyman Problem solver Good communication ability Well-organized Attention to detail Ability to use tools
