We are Modern Heating & Plumbing, a fast-growing, highly regarded commercial and residential plumbing, heating & cooling service provider located in Beach Park, Illinois. We offer great training and long-term success! We are currently looking for a full-time, qualified HVAC Technician or Installer to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for service calls, installation/project work, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems as well as Preventative Maintenance Care. This individual should have the ability to work independently as well as be a team player. This person should possess a high degree of customer service and communication skills. Dedicated customer service is essential to the position. We are looking for ambitious individuals that are committed to the job and take pride in the quality of their work! RESPONSIBILITIES: • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements • Perform routine and preventative maintenance • Install new Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems • Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction • Respond to Emergency Maintenance requests • Participate in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: • Universal EPA Certification (required) • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) • Familiar with HVAC wiring diagrams • Ability to handle physical workload • Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must pass Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check • Must be authorized to work in the United States (required) BENEFITS: • Life, Health, Dental and Vision Insurance • 401(k) Plan, w/Company Match Program • Company provided Fleet Vehicle w/Fleet Fuel Card and iPass • PTO and 6 Paid Holidays • Competitive, Bi-Weekly Pay • Employee discount • Tuition reimbursement Why Work Here?
