This is a great opportunity for a clear headed person, eager to learn, who can follow directions well, is open minded, and wants to grow from the experience. This is for someone who wants to pursue a career with a small company, with an endless permanent need. Long term work will be offered to the person who shows the most long term promise. You don't have to have a lot of experience. You just have to have he aptitude for this kind of work and want to try hard. You also need to generally can get along with other people. This includes your maintenance supervisor, the tenants, and me the owner. You must prove that you can stay focused and effective, without someone behind you every minute, telling you what to do. If you come with some basic maintenance skills, that's great. The rest you will be shown how to do and/or your skill set will be built on, day-by day. This actual job includes basic upkeep, maintenance, repairs and turnovers in apartment buildings. But that's not as important as some of the other things already mentioned. Indoor/outdoor work, such as cleanup, painting, hauling out abandoned items, basic repairs with hand tools, and small power tools. Climbing of ladders, basic plumbing repairs and tasks like these. It's a physical job, for sure. You will also need to use basic stuff like a smart phone and phone camera. You must have a car or way to get to any one of several locations in Cincinnati on any given day. You do not need to own a truck or have a bunch of tools. You must be drug free and be able to pass a basic background check, if requested. Please reply back with a Resume and a note.
