versatile musician looking for band

24 and recently moved to the detroit metro area for my post-graduation career. Along with meeting other like-minded people, I'm looking to start or join an existing group. I had to leave my college band behind in my university town. In my former band I mained guitar but also played drums and bass. I'd prefer to do drums or bass in this new outfit, as those are the instruments I'm best at writing originals on. I do have live experience. Preferred members are early to late 20s. Looking to create our own sound but my main genre influences are pop-punk, punk rock, alternative, indie, metal, and post-rock. Not afraid to accommodate any taste though. Hoping to do a few covers and write originals with the goal of a live set ready within a few months of starting. I have equipment for my own instruments. Don't have a practice space but would be down to rent one if it comes to that. Let's rock, have fun, and do our best to not sell our souls!
