Rehoming 1 year old German Shepherd

I am looking for a great home for my 1 year old male German Shepherd. He is a sweet dog with our family. Very loving and protective. He is smart and loves to play catch with his ball. The reason I am looking for a new home for him is because twice he has nipped at young children. I have two little kids who always have friends over and we live in a neighborhood with a lot of kids always around, and it makes him nervous to be around them. I believe the nips were reactive and not aggressive. We have never had any issue in our own home with our own kids. He will need to go to a home without kids, with a fence, and with an experienced and active owner. There will be a rehoming fee.
