Alexander Gow Fire Equipment Company has been operating since 1923 in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to our offices in Seattle and Oahu, we are now opening a branch in Portland to keep an even wider range of customers safe. We are looking for an experienced Fire Suppression System Technician to service fire and life-safety systems for the Portland area. Technicians are responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, and installing fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers in commercial businesses. Ability to work independently and good work ethic is a must. Pay will depend on experience in the life safety industry and current certifications. Experience preferred but we will strongly consider candidates with electrical, mechanical, and/or construction experience, with full training and support to acquire training certifications. Sales experience of any kind is also a plus. We are adding to our growing team, which means there will be plenty of opportunity for growth within and beyond this role. Opportunities include project management, sales and account management, and lead technician roles. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4pm with occasional overtime and travel if necessary.
