We're hiring for multple positions: Supervisor, Drywaller / Framer and a helper for a General Contractor, based in Downey, CA - We specialize in Tenant Improvement (Light Commercial/Industrial). Our employees work on various construction projects throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties. Supervisor We a seeking a Supervisor to oversee daily construction projects in the Los Angeles and Orange Counties Job responsibilities will include: * Direct work of employees and subcontractors * Keep project managers informed on project status * As required, perform light construction work * Serve as the project site contact for customers and subcontractors Ideal candidates will possess the following traits: * Prior construction experience * Good communication skills * Ability to mentor and manage less experienced employees * Dependable * Focus on completing tasks on time * Attention to detail * Ability to read plans Good problem solving skills Drywaller / Framer We are seeking experienced Drywallers and Framers. This is a full-time position. Most of our construction work takes place indoors. Successful candidates will have at least 5 years experience. Job responsibilities will include: *Install drywall (cut, hang, finish) *Frame interior walls * Clean up of construction site * Preparing spaces for occupancy Helpers We are seeking construction Helpers. This is a full-time position. Most of our construction work takes place indoors. Successful candidates should have some experience and desire to learn new skills. Job responsibilities will include: *Assist other construction workers with various tasks *Light demolition of existing construction space * Clean up of construction site * Preparing spaces for occupancy Ideal candidates will possess the following traits: * Prior construction experience * Hard working * Ability to take directions * Dependable * Have own tools and transportation
