Thank you! Job Description: A private, lovely family in Bel Air seeks an energetic, team-oriented, positive, and polished full-time housekeeper to join their housekeeping team. The ideal candidate can easily take direction from senior staff and is a self-starter who takes initiative to ensure the ultimate comfort and cleanliness for all staying in the home. This candidate should have a willingness to learn, be reliable, service-oriented, have a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for organization and cleanliness. The Housekeeper should always be looking for ways to improve service standards and ensure a positive experience by anticipating the principal’s needs and working quickly as a team without compromising quality. This position is live-out and consists of a Thursday to Monday schedule. When the principal is in residence, hours consist of 1:30pm-9:30pm with overriding flexibility for overtime. When the principal is out of residence working hours are flexible. Discretion and confidentiality are a must. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to • General housekeeping, deep cleaning, organizing, and upkeep of the residence including seasonal and scheduled tasks • Monitor both indoor and outdoor of residence- cleaning all surfaces and appliances • Completing the family’s laundry including hand washing, dry cleaning, minor repairs, ironing clothes, managing wardrobes • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances • Superior organization skills applied to all aspects of the job and a willingness to go above and beyond • Assist with special projects and events as needed including guest relations, greeting, and hospitality service (both set up and break down as well) • Maintain residence for guest readiness and assist with guest care, keep all public spaces up to Principals’ standards • Change linens and gather used linens such as sheets or towels for laundering • Adhere to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations, procedures, and policies Requirements: • Fluent in English, exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers • Minimum 2+ years housekeeping, service or hospitality experience working in a similar position(s) with a private family or hotel/restaurant • Polished and professional in both mindset and manner • Always work with the utmost discretion and confidentiality, upholding standards/procedures at all times • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities and has an above and beyond attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Ability to lift, push and pull required load (approximately 30 lbs.) and stamina to work long periods of time • Comfortable and willing to work in a home with pets and children • Flexibility to work extended hours/overtime when needed • Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, formal food service PREFERRED • Must be fully vaccinated and willing to follow COVID-protection protocol • Valid driver’s license • Authorized to work within the United States
