Our busy company in the collision repair industry is looking for a friendly, pleasant, well organized, reliable, parts person and shop helper. Our open position is primarily focused checking in parts to make certain orders are complete, marking all parts with repair order numbers and dates, storage and organization of parts and distributing to the appropriate vehicle/technician as needed, returning wrong/damaged/unneeded parts and cores to appropriate vendor in a timely manner. During down you would be expected to clean and organize the body shop. The person we are seeking must be honest, trustworthy, and a self- starter who can work with little to no supervision. This is an entry into an industry severely short on qualified employees so your skill set, once learned, will make you a highly sought after asset. We eventually would like to see you grow into other areas if the desire and ability to learn is there. This is a perfect position for a well organized person, male of female.
You must possess:
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and juggle different tasks as needed.
• Willingness to jump in and help others when and where required.
• Needs be a quick learner, organized self-motivated and great attention to detail.
• Ability to work 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday
• Experience with computer programs and email a plus.
• Ability to learn our parts management system relatively quickly.
• This is a t-shirt and blue jeans kind of position!
Starting salary based on abilities and experience with an opportunity to increase that amount quickly, 40 hour work week, no overtime. You will be responsible for your own health insurance and must have reliable transportation as well. You'll accrue one week vacation/PTO year one and twice that the following year.
