Installer Trainee (Houston & The Woodlands) compensation: $15-$28/hr employment type: full-time WE WILL TRAIN YOU! Full-time: 7am – 3pm Monday through Friday Pay range: $15/hour to $28/hour - starting pay commensurate with experience. Eligible for extra pay via our Worker Rewards program. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life/ADD offered; 2-week vacation after first year, paid holidays. Overview Katchakid Pool Safety, Inc. is a National provider of swimming pool safety systems. We are seeking a fast learner with a great attitude to join our Pool Safety Installation Team. WE WILL TRAIN YOU and your pay will increase as your skill set and experience grows. This position is a Field Service job, working out of our Dallas Regional Office in Lewisville, Texas. As a Katchakid Installation Technician, working alone or as part of a team, you will Be given a daily schedule and work orders to visit customer homes and install or assist in installing pool safety nets, debris covers, and removable mesh fencing on or around swimming pools. Provide repair, delivery, product demonstrations, and other service to our customers as instructed by office staff. Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work authorization (fences), and completion paperwork for Company record keeping purposes. Use a variety of hand tools, including core drills, hammer drills, solder irons, etc. for installation and repair purposes. Be responsible for loading correct equipment and material quantities in Company truck every morning before starting your scheduled route. Use Company cell phone to take photos of completed jobs for record keeping purposes. Use Company cell phone to have regular communication with your regional Coordinator, regarding work order questions and customer satisfaction issues. The right candidate will be able to Speak and read English well enough to understand and execute instructions in work orders and to communicate with most customers and Office staff. Interact in a professional and friendly manner with customers. Safely carry awkward components of up to 70 lbs of material alone or with another worker. Use tools in a safe and precise manner and follow all safety protocols. Work outdoors on appointments for extended periods daily. Have a good driving record and be capable of driving a Company vehicle in compliance with all state and local laws. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Authorized to work in the US. Preferred: Experience or knowledge working in swimming pool construction, general construction, or on outdoor hardscapes. If little or no experience, WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
