SPRAY TECHNICIAN American Eagle LLC is a team of talented professionals, driven by results and customer relationships, and committed to excellence. We are an infrastructure maintenance company with an emphasis on vegetation management. We perform a variety of services for our customers including tractor mowing, boom mowing, herbicide applications, litter removal, motor grading, and other Right-of-Way maintenance activities. All work is performed outdoors along the roadside. Individual must be personable and self-motivated, someone who can problem solve in a fast-paced environment. Technicians operate independently, must strive to be effective with integrative vegetation management while servicing our city, county, state, and private customers. This position works with a 2-3 person team responsible for specialized, technical tasks associated with the routine application of various methods for vegetation management. Position is responsible to help ensure daily production goals are being met & quality results achieved. Duties & Responsibilities: • Effective client communication and care, must value customer satisfaction. • Complete daily reports. • Operate a company truck and spray system to apply herbicides. • Strong commitment to safety. Workday & Schedule: • Workdays & hours may vary depending on weather related conditions • Schedule will be a 5-day work week, mostly 10-hour days. • This position is seasonal with permanent opportunities. Compensation: • Overtime may be available, but not guaranteed • Weekly Pay • Paid time off is available to employees who qualify • Health, Dental, Vision benefits to employees who qualify • Holiday pay Physical Requirements: • Meet physical/body position requirements as stated by the Americans with Disabilities Act Section 4.0 • Ability to lift 50 pounds & to work outdoors in various temperatures throughout the day • Ability to work with & as a team & to complete tasks independently & take initiative • Ability to follow directions Experience Requirements: • MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE • 1 year experience operating spray and application equipment ideal • Experience with pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers • Flagging, Traffic Control or other certifications preferred. • CDL Licenses ideal • OASHA 10 or better certifications ideal.
