We are currently seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join our rapidly growing team. In this leading role, you will ensure an effective daily workflow within warehouse operations as well as any other duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package Paid Vacation Continuous Employee Development Generous Employee Discount Warehouse Receiving Responsibilities: Manage all receiving of inbound freight & small parcels from outside vendors. Notate any shipping damage. Tag, process and put away inventory. Process inbound transfers. Pick items and prepare for delivery. Scan and track inventory. Proactive communication to internal contacts regarding warehouse processes that impact customers and transportation. Establish and implement operational policies and procedures including but not limited to production, receiving, and inventory. Responsible for maintaining high standards related to the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment. Implement new processes to increase efficiencies while reducing costs. Ensure the warehouse is in compliance with all state and federal law (i.e. OSHA.) Plan daily and weekly production activities when necessary. Perform other duties and special projects as requested. Warehouse Receiving Requirements: Must maintain good attendance. Maintain safe work practices. Be able to lift over 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for all of the day. Turn and twist at waist level with moderate waist level bending. Visually Inspect and sort defective products. Must be able to work with a barcode scanner. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred three (3) to five (5) years of previous warehouse/logistics management experience. Proficiency with MS Office & Outlook. Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers and management. Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed. Ability to efficiently work independently of direct supervision.
