Description

STORM TEAM 2022 I am looking for people interested in seasonal work for this coming hurricane season. I am currently only recruiting people who are located near Florida this summer, although the work might take you out of state as we go to where the most storm damage is. This is a gig that can last from a week to up to a month or more. We only know how many people we need AFTER a storm has passed and damage is assessed. Right now we are finding interested and qualified people to put on the roster to be called when a storm is approaching. Coastal Logic Inc. is a company that provides manpower, equipment and services for their clients. The primary function of this company is staffing emergency response missions when natural disasters and other unforeseen circumstances threaten power utility and telecommunications infrastructure. We will need a variety of good people to operate a successful yard. Most importantly we need people who are DEPENDABLE, HARDWORKING, ADVENTUROUS, and who have a desire to help people in need recover from devastating storm damages. We set up support yards for first responders, utility workers, and internet providers. We essentially set up a small, functioning, community that includes bunk houses, kitchen and dining, shower houses, laundry, parking and more for the crews who go out and fix the power/utilities/etc. We need those with 3/4 ton trucks who are able to tow large campers from state to state. We will need those with construction/labor/electrician experience. We need people to cook, clean, do laundry, and maintain the grounds. We need people to set up bunkhouses, light towers, and generators. We all chip in and do a little bit of everything that needs to be done. You must be able to be away and on the yard for extended periods. If you do not have experience but do have the right attitude and desire then WE WILL TRAIN YOU. This work is suitable for all able bodies. There are a lot of retired military men and women here, but there are LOTS of people from all sorts of backgrounds too. I am a 50 year old woman who works as a part time wine rep and part time metal fabricator. I'm not particularly tough, but this will be my 3rd year and I LOVE doing this. It is challenging, hot, and humid, but its also deeply satisfying, I meet GREAT people, its exciting, and I come home with LOTS OF MONEY! You just have to show up and commit to the work. We count on each other to be there and pull our weight. There is room for growth and raises are given to those who show they want it. Starting pay is determined by experience and we log APPROXIMATELY 15 hrs per day, 7 days a week, for as long as "the yard" is needed. These hrs include mealtimes and rest periods. Raises are given once we see that we can count on you. Please contact me for more information. We are recruiting in the state of Florida and surrounding areas. Tell your friends ! (The map posted off to the side here is irrelevant. The system made me put a location marker but we work wherever the storm damage is. Often out of state.)
