The Story of Wes - the musicians wanted ad responder

So there is a this person in this forum, let's call him Wes, who responds to a lot of initial posts and there is nothing wrong with that. Just trying to find the right fit. But then when the original poster responds back to "Wes", they get nothing back. Wes even leaves his phone number but then doesn't answer and ignores texts. He also doesn't respond back to Facebook Messenger messages, emails or Facebook friend requests. So why did "Wes" respond at all? And why so often? Is he just being difficult? Is he too tied up in his Big Boom or DJ work and realizes it too late? Is it just a sophisticated Bot that even provides info on his hand injury, Reverbnation.com link and home studio?
