Description
Rehoming fee of $60 each, or both for $100. I have enjoyed keeping these two guys, but they require more attention than I am able to give, so they deserve a better home. The cane toad eats a lot (crickets are his favorite, but he also eats mealworms, superworms, dubia roaches, etc. - really, anything, as this species has a voracious appetite). The African egg-eating snake eats very small bird eggs (such as parakeet eggs) or some of the contents of a fresh [chicken or quail] egg poured into a small bowl in his tank. Both have great temperaments. However, please make sure that you know about the specific features of both species, especially the cane toad. Like all toads, it has toxins that it can secrete from glands on its back, but as long as you take several precautions, including hand-washing after handling, you should be fine; just don't lick your toad (or let it near another pet that could try to "taste" it, etc.). I was told that these two were female when I got them a few months ago, but I'm really not sure anymore, based on their dimensions. They don't come with an enclosure, but I can give you a container to bring them home. Only ask about their availability if you are willing to make the drive to Bowie.
