Description
Pineapple is a 9 year old red foot tortoise from New Mexico. I believe she is a female but she is still pretty “young” and small so it’s hard to tell. I believe her growth was a little stunted due to an accident she had - she managed to knock over her heat lamp on herself while no one was home and severely burned herself, her front legs and front bottom of her shell took most of the damage. That took place in 2016 and she has made an astonishing recovery, she is missing some of the bottom outer shell and only 2 claws on each front foot have grown back as little stubs but otherwise she is healthy and happy and doesn’t require special care (well at least not from her injuries because she is very special lol). She does have a hutch I keep on the floor because she prefers to spend her time out free roaming the living room. She has quite the personality and attitude to match, she enjoys flipping herself over for attention when stuck in her hutch. I’ve had her since she was a couple months old and she’s moved across the country with me. As low maintenance as she is, I just don’t have the time to give her the attention she deserves. I’m hoping to find her a family that will allow her to be out and about to do her thing and won’t be to upset if she potty’s on the floor because she is not toilet trained. If you have an outdoor area for her to roam in the summer that is a major plus. Just know her favorite game is hide-n-seek and she is very good at it. If you’d like to meet Pineapple you can call or text Lacy at 925-414-fourteen04. Thanks.
Side note: I also have a 8 y/o female bearded dragon and 2 y/o female kenyan sand boa that I am also rehoming.
