A successful Washington cannabis producer/processor is looking for a an Assistant Grower/Assistant. The ideal candidate will have the following traits: a strong passion for the plant, willing to work hard for the whole shift, available to work weekends and open to learning. This is an entry level position with room to advance quickly for the right candidate. Skills/ Experience: - Three or more years agriculture/cannabis experience - Knowledge of plant fundamentals (PH, EC, VPD, PPFD) - Overseeing all aspects of cultivation: watering, irrigation systems, cloning, veg plants maintenance, flower plant maintenance and tracking systems. - IPM familiarity. Spotting plant problems early and being able to issue proper remedies. Foliar sprays. - This is extremely important: strong ability to follow detailed directions and take constructive criticism. Ability to work in a team setting and go the extra mile whenever needed. The position WILL REQUIRE working weekends. Our schedule is usually 7 AM to 4 PM with flexibility built in. We offer full health, dental and vision insurance packages to all of our full-time employees after 90 days. We are open to making the position salaried after the initial 90 days.
