CLEARWATER, FL — A 48-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault after threatening to shoot his pregnant girlfriend and her dog in Clearwater Beach Sunday night. Clearwater police responded to a call for help at a home at 59 Acacia St. and found that David Ploch was armed with a gun and threatening to shoot his pregnant girlfriend and her dog. He was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery and remains in Pinellas County Jail without bail.
