More About Us!Foundation for Black Health Disparities, Inc. deliberately sets priorities for joining efforts across the nation to improve health outcomes for black Americans. We do this by targeting the reduction in socioeconomic and environmental inequalities typically seen in these communities. Our goal, through each grant cycle, is to collaborate and provide funding support to grassroots organizations focused on improving equitable health outcomes; specifically, those decreasing inequalities in the social determinants of health (education, economic stability, neighborhoods and environments, social context, and health care). In addition to our volunteer research and advocacy work, we host benefit dinners, mixers, and/or galas to increase our funding power to pipeline resources into the most disadvantaged neighborhoods. All proceeds from these events directly benefit the foundation and our partnered charities. There is no geographical restrictions to our support. To learn more, please visit: www.FBHD.org
