About Ridwell: Ridwell helps neighborhoods reduce waste by picking up hard-to-recycle items like plastic film, lightbulbs, batteries, and other featured categories 2x month by picking up those items directly from your doorstep. We partner with local non-profits and regional organizations that reuse and/or recycle the materials. Ridwell currently operates in Portland, Seattle, Austin, Minneapolis and Denver – and our members have diverted over 3 million pounds of waste from landfills since we got started. We are working to build support for our sustainability efforts to expand the service to Madison soon.
