Classes cover basic wheel-throwing and decorative techniques, and are appropriate for ages 14 and up.  Classes are suited for beginner, intermediate and advanced throwers; allowing intermediate and advanced students the opportunity to pursue their interests with guidance if needed. Classes sizes are limited to ensure each student gets ample instruction. Classes include everything you need to start making pottery: group instruction, a 25 lb bag of stoneware clay, tools, glazes, storage, and firings. All firing and finishing costs are included in price.   ***THE YOUTH WEDNESDAY CLASS IS INTENDED FOR YOUTH OR FAMILY'S. THE PRICE REFLECTS THE TWO HOUR CLASS VS. THE 2.5 HOUR LONG CLASS*** ***THE THURSDAY INTERMEDIATE CLASS IS INTENDED FOR MORE EXPERIENCED POTTERS WHO SHOUD BE ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY THROW A 2 LB CYLINDER AND UNDERSTAND THE BASIC PROCESSES OF TRIMMING AND GLAZING*** Each course is 7 sessions, taking place ONCE a week, studio time is limited to class hours only to ensure instructor supervision. This Session's Class Schedule: TUESDAY: May 3rd - June 14th 10:00AM - 12:30PM TUESDAY: May 3rd - June 14th 6:30PM-9:00PM YOUTH WEDNESDAY: May 4th - June 15th 6:30-8:30PM THURSDAY: May 5th - June 16th 6:30PM-9:00PM SATURDAY: May 7th - June 18th 10:00AM-12:30PM SUNDAY: May 8th - June 19th 10:00AM - 12:30PM There will be no makeup classes for inclement weather; we will send out an email for cancellations and/or phone calling if requested. We ask that you please sign up for the class, through Eventbrite. We ask that you do not try to avoid the Eventbrite fee, as they are our host-we will not hold spots over the phone or email in advance. Due to enrollment and scheduling, we can not always accommodate makeup classes.
