BETHPAGE, NY — A man has been hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Bethpage Monday night, Nassau County police said. According to police, a 60-year-old man was crossing Hempstead Turnpike at Stewart Avenue at 8:35 p.m. when police say he was hit by a 2021 Audi sedan being driven by a 29-year-old woman. The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver remained at the scene. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
