I am a college student home for the summer. I have a huge passion for animals, especially dogs as I am a pre vet major. Since I am a college student, I do not have the resources back at school to get another currently and already have a family dog at home in the summer. It is also my last year showing at the fair for 4H, and for this reason I am looking for another dog to train and show at the fair as a fun little summer project. I could come multiple times a week (depending on my schedule) June-August to train the dog obedience and even exercise it at the only cost that I can show it at the fair for a day or two in July (which is just a paper slip stating permission and vaccine info). I have all the supplies (treats, leashes, collars, crate, harnesses, toys) and can pick the dog up myself for an hour or so some days. You would get a pretty well trained/fulfilled dog all for free! This is perfect if you have a dog that has a little bit of extra energy to burn off too. I am looking for a dog that is: 20+ lbs within 10-15 miles of Tomah (Oakdale, warrens, Sparta, Norwalk) NOT aggressive or reactive to other dogs or people, not extremely fearful of people/dogs and no major behavioral issues (smaller behavior issues such as leash pulling and jumping up can be trained out within that time frame whereas major issues cannot) Likes to please or is motivated by toys and/or food (the more motivated the better). Retrievers, spaniels, herding dogs, working type dogs, and terriers are a plus! 6 months - 8 Years old for age Please get in contact with me ASAP as this is basically first come first serve!
