Join us Saturday June 11th (rain date June 18th) at 9:00am for a hands-on workshop at the Thetford Center green. Participants will have an on-site discussion of the garden design process, and learn more about the benefits and loveliness of native ground covers (green mulches) for weed suppression in the garden. Together we will plant the new pollinator garden at the Thetford Center green from the seeds we learned to start at the last session. Bring gardening gloves, a trowel if you have one, and all your native gardening questions! Participation in previous sessions is not required. Water and refreshments will be available. Parking is available next to the green at the Thetford Community Center, and across from the green at the Timothy Frost Church and Thetford Town Hall. This workshop is part of a Gardening With Native Plants series hosted by the Thetford and West Fairlee Conservation Commissions.
