Ever watch the TV show, Cheers? Where everybody knows your name? Some of the events we work on are known events and attract guests in the thousands. Most events are in the outdoors. With events of this magnitude there are lots of moving parts and lots of crews and volunteers involved. Roles to be filled range from remote event support cast members to on-site event managers and crew. The compensation can range up to several hundred dollars based on the project and time required (approximately ~$30/hr). All crew are 1099 part time contracted freelance workers. Positions are for up and coming event opportunities and will openings will close soon. If you are passionate about being involved in the event planning, production, and management of events this is for you. If you want experience working hands-on in iconic large scale events this will move your portfolio forward with chops. *Remote staff are needed for business hours and may work off-site from wherever they are. Position requires entering info you collect. Articulate, English is your primary language, personable phone manner, can use your notebook, pc/mac, smart phone to send/receive email, conduct research, be involved on video conferences, versed in MS Excel (or Google Sheets) for entering info. Must be detail oriented, self reliant, dependable, responsive, mission focused, deadline driven. *On-site staff ranges from managing volunteers, overseeing load-in, helping with logistics, set-up and dismantle, and interaction with people (in a friendly way). Outgoing positive attitude, presentable appearance, dependable, responsive, assertive yet friendly, focused, can lift ~32 lbs, not adverse to outdoor conditions, can stand and/or walk for extended amounts of time. Remote work will require being in the same Eastern Standard time zone and be able to travel and be prompt showing up at event sites throughout the area.
