Pearl Cajoles is the External Affairs Manager for the City of Houston’s Office of Business Opportunity. Prior to Pearl coming to the City of Houston, she was with the University of Houston, where she served as digital marketing manager for the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Prior to Hilton College, Pearl spent seven years at the Houston Chronicle, where she began her tenure as writer and editor for neighborhood news, and later for the advertising publications and marketing departments. Pearl’s experience also includes operations management in business process outsourcing (BPO). For three years, she led the Philippine expansion of the editorial and copywriting department for AffinityX, a marketing services agency with offices in Asia and North America. Pearl grew up in Cebu City, and holds a BA in Communication from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
