SPAG is hosting a regional ‘water roundtable’ to cover multiple topics facing our local communities involving water. Specifically, we’ll be having Heather Johnson from Texas Parks and Wildlife talk about Playa restoration and the public/private partnerships that they have available that could restore parts of the water table in your area. Additionally, we’ll have presentations from the Region O Regional Water Planning Group to discuss the direct impact and plans for dealing with water demands as well as a presentation from the Region 7 Regional Flood Planning Group to discuss the Texas Water Development Board’s program for flood planning and future funding solutions. We hope to keep the crowd to 25 to facilitate healthy conversation and discussion on this critical topic and to provide detailed solutions for your community. *** Lunch will be provided***
