The Colorado Jazz Workshop (cojazzworkshop.com) has immediate openings for musicians seeking an opportunity to play small combo and/or big band jazz. We are specifically looking to fill traditional big band instrumentation: Saxophones, Trombones, Trumpets, Keyboards, Bass, Drum Set and Guitar. CJW is a considerable step above a "kicks" band and is comprised of 3 big bands and 5 jazz combos, with practices once a week. Each band gigs 4 to 6 times per year, usually at Dazzle Jazz, the UNC Jazz Festival and other locations in the metro area. This is an awesome opportunity to strengthen your chops and/or learn jazz music and improvisation.
