FORT LEE, NJ — An attorney brought child pornography to his Bergen County workplace, according to federal authorities. Androsky Lugo brought several electronic devices with the imagery to his office in Fort Lee, where they were stored on a shelf, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced Tuesday. Lugo — an Eastchester, New York, resident — was arraigned Sept. 9 for promoting and possessing child pornography and unlawful surveillance of a minor, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office in New York. But New Jersey authorities also charged Lugo on Friday with two child-pornography offenses — one count for transportation and another for possession. The criminal complaint doesn't state where Lugo worked. Sometime between August 2019 and February 2020, Lugo handed several electronic devices to another employee, instructing that employee to store them, according to the criminal complaint. The devices consisted of three cellphones and a tablet computer inside a manilla envelope, according to federal authorities. After Lugo was charged in New York last September, the employee told the company about the devices Lugo had asked her to store, the complaint states. The company discovered that the tablet contained child pornography and contacted law enforcement, authorities said. Law enforcement searched the devices in October and found several images and videos constituting child pornography, the complaint says. The investigation also revealed that Lugo transported child pornography on a different cell phone from New York to New Jersey in July, authorities said.
