The Position: We’re looking for a Delivery Driver located in our Miami FL market. The pay we’re offering is starting at $18 an hour, depending on experience. Employee will eligible for a $1000 signing bonus. Employee must be in good standing to receive the bonus. Candidate must pass a Drug/Alcohol Test and Criminal Background Check. Basic Function: To complete assigned deliveries and pick- up of merchandise and assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities. This includes driving a box truck. Responsibilities Operate company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner. Pick up merchandise from warehouse/ vendors/ customers. Deliver merchandise to customer in a timely manner. Ensure delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices. Ensure delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition. Perform daily maintenance checks and report malfunctions to management. Ensure customer messages/ communications are relayed to appropriate management. Assist in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times. Assist with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying cartons and placing them on appropriate shelves. Fill delivery orders by obtaining the required merchandise and completing appropriate paperwork. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualification/Skills Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Verbal and written communication skills. Customer service skills. Valid Driver’s license- must meet insurance underwriting requirements. CDL not required. Must pass DOT physical, and have current DOT medical card. Good driving record. Open availability, overtime is common. Prior truck driving experience is required.
