Songwriter/Guitarist Looking To Connect

I’m a singer-songwriter-guitarist looking to connect with other musicians in the Huntsville and Madison areas. I play guitar and write songs for fun, and I’m hoping to meet up with a few other musicians to see if we could click and play some shows, write, and maybe record some music. I’ve played in several bands and I’m influenced by all things rock n roll, but what I seem to write most recently is acoustic-singer-songwriter stuff in the vein of Elliott Smith, Phoebe Bridgers, Bon Iver, Kurt Vile, etc. I don’t really have any expectations other than having fun. I’m not really trying to make money or play cover songs … I have a family and a career, and I’m definitely not cool. Just hoping to find others who strive to create. Maybe team up with another songwriter – I back you up and vice versa. Or meet a bass player and drummer, maybe another guitarist into texture and noise. I'm open to inspiration.
